Created in collaboration with Rabbits of Realness, this zine provides illustrations for the poem “Blessing Poem” by Spoon Jackson, an incarcerated poet in California whose Realness Project is the parent community for Rabbits of Realness. Full zine can be viewed upon request!
Unrelated fun-fact: As I was laying down paper stars, taking a picture of this zine...a swarm of ducks flocked over and began eating my stars...

Three friends and I conceptualized and painted this traveling, interactive picnic table mural celebrating food from across Asia. Designed with intergenerational gathering in mind, we encourage people to sit and share their love of food and culture through an art activity featuring hand-carved stamps of dishes from the table. This is an ongoing project funded by and done in collaboration with the Asian Community Fund at the Boston Foundation. We have visited several Asian cultural events throughout Massachusetts so far, and plan to keep doing so into into the next year!

Blessing Poem Zine Preview
A digitally printed vinyl mural done in collaboration with Waku-Waku and the Pao Arts Center in Chinatown. The mural was created in response to the theme “Imagine a Greener Chinatown” and intended to highlight the neighborhood’s lack of green space and history of environmental racism. Rising from the ashes of its dark past, I wanted to convey tenacity, resilience, and hope in the mural: personifying its residents as a fierce tiger, resilient as grass that persists to grow between the cracks of a sidewalk despite being smothered by concrete.

I was also responsible for designing social media graphics and other design elements, which can be found here.
